Dental Implants

Implants are manufactured "anchors" that look like cylinders or screws. They are artificial replacements for natural tooth roots. Implants are used in upper and lower jaws. They are made of titanium and other materials that are well suited to the human body.

Crowns & Bridges

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped "cap" that is placed over a tooth – covering the tooth to restore its shape and size, strength, and/or to improve its appearance. The crowns, when cemented into place, fully encase the entire visible portion of a tooth that lies at and above the gum line.

Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment can relieve toothache, stop infection, and promote healing. A root canal is needed when tooth decay is likely to cause permanent damage to the pulp or has already done so.

Dentures

A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissue. There are two types of dentures -- complete and partial. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some of the natural teeth remain.

Whitening of Teeth

There are several ways to make your teeth whiter: Bonding, Porcelain Veneers (Laminates), Porcelain Crowns (Caps) and Bleaching (Whitening). Bleaching involves changing the color of the teeth without changing their physical structure.

Bad Breath Treatment

Bad breath, morning breath, breath odor or halitosis are all terms used to describe a noticeably unpleasant odor exhaled on the breath. Have regular check-ups with your dentist to rule out gum disease and to correct any faulty restorations, overhanging fillings or leaking crowns, all of which can trap food in the mouth

Cleaning of Teeth

Most important part of dental cleaning happens at home, since brushing and flossing are also a vital practice to keep your dental hygiene intact.Dentist uses specialized instruments to gently remove these deposits without harming the teeth.A dental cleaning procedure basically follows three simple steps:scaling, root planning & polishing.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic Dentistry can repair chipped, broken or missing teeth with tooth-colored Bonded or Porcelain restorations! It can make yellow or gray teeth whiter with Professional Bleaching (Whitening) and/or Porcelain Veneers and can replace ugly silver fillings!

Child Dental Care

An infant's first teeth are called baby teeth or primary teeth. They usually start to come in (erupt) between 6 months and 12 months of age. A total of 20 primary teeth erupt by about 3 years of age. Children begin to lose their primary teeth between the ages of 6 and 11 years. They are replaced by secondary, or permanent teeth.

Prophylactic Sealants

One of the most common places that tooth decay develops is on the chewing surfaces of the back teeth, called premolars and molars. When you run your tongue along the chewing surfaces of the back teeth, you can feel depressions and grooves. These indentations are called pits and fissures and are difficult to keep clean, we may recommend dental sealants. A dental sealant is a plastic material that is applied to a chewing surface of a back tooth.

Fluoride Treatment

Throughout the day, teeth are exposed to acids that can break down enamel and lead to tooth decay -- fluoride helps inhibit these acids from attacking the tooth surface, restore the minerals that have been worn down and repair weak spots in the enamel.

Extractions

Dental extractions mean the extraction of the unwanted tooth. There can be many reasons behind why one wants to go for dental extractions. Some teeth are extracted because they are severely decayed, others may have advanced periodontal disease ("gum disease"), or else have broken in a fashion which cannot be repaired.

Braces

Braces can correct crooked or misaligned teeth, and can improve the health and appearance of anyone’s smile -- adult or child. Braces work by applying steady pressure over time to slowly move teeth into alignment. As the teeth move, the bony tooth socket changes shape as pressure is applied.

Gum Surgeries

Gum therapy treats bad breath, swollen and/or bleeding gums and a bad taste in the mouth that is caused by bacterial infection. There are three broad classes of periodontal (gum) therapy for treatment of gum disease: dental cleaning(scaling), root planning & periodontal (gum) surgery.
